Did you know that the duplex is outlawed in the vast majority of our Central Ohio (as much as 79% of our region prohibits this quirky classic that shaped so many generations before us)?!

Join the Affordable Housing Alliance of Central Ohio to watch the original short film "United: the Hidden Story of the Humble Duplex", an acclaimed documentary by filmmaker Anita Kwan shot right here in Central Ohio.

Director Kwan and Producer Carlie J. Boos will both join this conversation to share the behind-the-scenes details that brought the film to life and answer audience questions.

We'll discuss how redlining, segregation, suburban sprawl, and other national forces targeted this local architectural icon, and see how a new generation is reclaiming the duplex as a tool for growth, wealth, and individuality.

The film is free to attend and light refreshments will be provided.
