September Meeting, Tuesday 9/8

Hi y’all, quick reminder that our July meeting is next week on Tuesday, September 8th at 7pm at the Main Library on Grant. We will be in our usual meeting room 1A.

This month, we’re following the money at COTA. Guest speaker Garrett Patterson will give us a rundown of COTA’s finances and dig into a big question: could Columbus afford to make COTA free? We’ll look at where COTA’s money comes from, where it goes, and what that means for the future of our transit system.

We’ll also have Transit Columbus member Steve Totzke present on Green Social Housing and how we as an organization can fight for affordable housing that is also good for the climate.

Lastly, we’ll have some updates on the Our City Our Say campaign and what to expect going forward.

Everyone is welcome, no prior knowledge or experience is needed! Whether this is your first meeting or your fifteenth, we're looking forward to seeing you!
