Tenant Right to Counsel: Supporting Housing Stability Among Families with Young Children

Please join the National Coalition for a Civil Right to Counsel (NCCRC), a project of the Public Justice Center, for our upcoming webinar: Tenant Right to Counsel: Supporting Housing Stability Among Families with Young Children. Earlier this year the NCCRC team began working with the Thrive from the Start Initiative (TFTS), which aims to identify and develop housing supports for prenatal to age 3 (PN-3) families nationally as well as within 10 specific TFTS grantee states. On Wednesday, November 18th from 3-4pm ET join us for a conversation diving into how tenant right to counsel (TRTC) can support and have supported housing stability for families with young children. You'll learn more about the intent, justification, and design of TRTC laws focused on families with children, their impact on health, and the TRTC laws in Cleveland, OH and Bozeman, MT, which focus on serving households with children. FEATURING Matthew Vincel: Managing Attorney, Housing Practice Group, Legal Aid Society of Cleveland Olive Nakano Sohn: Organizer and Steering Committee Member, Bozeman Tenants United Kate Leifheit: Social Epidemiologist, UCLA's Fielding School of Public Health
