A Building Performance Standard (BPS) is a policy designed to enhance the performance of existing buildings by establishing energy or emissions targets that progress over time. A BPS can help our city achieve multiple goals of the Climate Action Plan while enhancing quality of life and fostering local economic growth. Columbus is looking to adopt a BPS Ordinance in 2026 and is seeking public input. This focus gorup is intended to get specific input from residents regarding what they would like Columbus to create to support the improvement of buildings that they live and work in and the energy that they use. 

Food and drink will be provided. Parking is available for free in the lot adjacent to the building.
