Affordable Housing Bond Hearing
Council President Shannon G. Hardin and Councilmember Tiara N. Ross will hold a public hearing to discuss the city’s affordable housing bond package. Last November, Columbus voted to approve a historic $500 million investment in affordable housing that will help shape Columbus as the city continues to grow. Now, Columbus City Council is inviting residents and stakeholders to share their ideas on how these bond dollars should be spent and prioritized. This includes innovative solutions to meet Columbus’s housing needs while protecting long-term residents and preventing displacement.
Those wishing to speak at the hearing to give public comment should contact Jessica Clinger at JNClinger@columbus.gov by noon on the day of the hearing. Columbus residents are also welcome to send a written comment that will be shared with councilmembers.
Resident interested in providing feedback related to this affordable housing bond package can also fill out this public survey.
