Voice & Vision 2024

Voice & Vision 2024 will be held on Wednesday, October 16. Save the date and join us at the Hilton Columbus Downtown from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. for our annual celebration.

Lark Mallory, President & CEO of Affordable Housing Trust.

Homeport is thrilled to have Lark Mallory, Affordable Housing Trust (AHT) President and CEO, receive our 2024 Voice & Vision award. Mallory was chosen for her tireless work with AHT to fund housing solutions that lift up our most cost burdened and build toward a more equitable Central Ohio.

“I am so surprised and humbled that I have been selected to be Homeport’s 2024 Voice and Vision honoree, especially in light of 2024 being the 10th anniversary,” said Mallory. “We know that we desperately need every single unit of housing throughout our region. Homeport and AHT recognize and understand the issue, and have partnered to bring many projects online. I look forward to continuing this strong relationship for it is relationships like ours that will change the housing trajectory in our community.”

Mallory has led AHT since 2021 but has been instrumental in elevating the organization’s impact since she became a board member in 2009. She served as counsel and director of community development financial institution (CDFI) investments with AHT from 2016 to 2021 before taking over as leader. Her work with AHT has led to unprecedented investment in affordable housing in the region and has helped develop Homeport communities as well, including Kenlawn Place in North Linden.

This year, we mark the 10 years of Voice & Vision, an event we host to celebrate peer leaders in affordable housing and show our gratitude to the partners who make our work possible. Voice & Vision also allows us to show the impact of that support – the communities created, the clients who became first-time homeowners, and the residents who benefited from our service and resource connection.
